Silver Show Team 2010

Show Season is right around the corner and now is the time to sign up for the Show Team! We are preparing a team of riders who wish to develop their skills, meet other riders, and enjoy themselves through competing in area shows. This is a great way to spend part of your summer, and has been very popular with the dozens of members who have participated in the team sport since 1999.

As in our last nine years of showing, our primary goal is to offer members an enjoyable, challenging and very rewarding experience. Being on a show team allows our members to experience the excitement of competition and team camaraderie, while building up their self-discipline and improving their riding skills.

Participation on the show team requires a few hours of preparation the night before the show (approx. 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM), very early departures on show days (approx. 6:00 AM), and feeding, unbraiding etc... at the end of the day.

Registration for the 2009 Show Team is open until March 14, 2010, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Although somewhat intensive, the show teams are an ideal addition to any rider training program.

Friends and family are welcome at all shows. All competitors should have a groom (HELPER) to hold your horse and help with fetching water, shining boots etc...

WE ENCOURAGE VOLUNTEERS, to help out with driving, grooming and trailering and all the other exciting, fun things that are part of this event. Even if you’re not showing, come out and cheer the Team on!!!
